  • I went to see Boyz II Men yesterday at the House of Blues - Sunset and even though I had been standing for 4 hours in heels before the show started and I felt like my feet were going to fall off, once they started singing, I forgot all of that and toally fell in love with them again.

Even though all of them had gained weight cuz they're all middle-aged now, they're all still so cute!  Wanya was acting like a total goofball, it was so cute!  Also, if you don't know, the deep voice guy, Michael, was kicked out of/left the group a couple of years ago because of health problems, but he was at the show last night too!  He was sitting up on the balcony.

Also, after the show, right as me and my sister got into our cars, Nathan walked right in front of our car!  At first I wasn't completely sure it was him because 1) he didn't have a bodyguard and 2) he wasn't being mobbed by fans.  I think people were too shocked to move because he was just walking among everyone in the crowd like normal.  When me and my sister drove by him, my sister yelled out "good job" and he responded with "alright". Haha.  All in all, it was a good night (except for the 6 hours of standing in my heels).

  • Now here's a quote for girls to live by:

"Your dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman and loose enough to show you're a lady."

-Edith Head, Legendary Hollywood Costume Designer

I found it today while reading a magazine.

  • CHINA!!!

Ok, I'm back from China and I had the most AMAZING time!  I had the most awesome people in my tour group and I couldn't have imagined a better tour guide.  While I was there, I managed to go on 12 different types of transportation.  Bus, subway, taxi, big river boat (on the 3 Gorges), smaller boat (to visit the Lesser 3 Gorges, and an even smaller boat (to visit the Mini 3 Gorges), a hydrofoil boat, airplane, rickshaw, a hard sleeper overnight train, a soft sleeper overnight train, and of course, LOTS of walking.  I'll put up more details after I have time to upload some pictures.  But if anyone's going to visit a foreign country anytime soon, I definitely recommend doing a tour through Intrepid.  They really get you into the culture of the places you visit and their guides are great!
